The valve body of F1960 Cold Expansion PEX G00GS525 (no stop) & G00GS525S (with stops) and F1807 Crimp PEX G00GS527 (no stop) & G00GS527S (with stops) are designed for vertical inlets configuration application, so direction of inlets can be from top or from bottom. These valve bodies come standard with inlets up from the bottom, but can be rotated 180 degrees for installation with inlets coming down from above. For top-down installation only, follow the following steps and apply a rotation of the retainer ring and plaster guard at rough-in installation.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove the plaster guard from the valve body.
- Loosen the screws a half (1/2) turn. DO NOT REMOVE SCREWS.
- Turn the valve body so the inlets point upward and rotate the retainer ring 180 degrees. Ensure the ARROW ON RETAINER RING MUST ALWAYS POINT UPWARD.
- Secure the retainer ring and tighten the screws.
- Replace the plaster guard back onto the valve body. The plaster guard will click and secure on the retainer ring. Ensure ARROW ON PLASTER GUARD MUST ALWAYS POINT UP.
