Step 1 - Turn off the shut-off valve
Step 2 - Remove supply line from fill valve shank
Step 3 - Using needle nose pliers or tweezers, reach up inside the shaft of the fill valve and pull out the filter
Step 4 - Check filter for debris. If debris is found, clean out filter and wipe out the inside of the shaft to remove debris.

Reinstall filter once cleaned
