How to remove Draper handle?

For the Kitchen & Single Handle Lavatory Faucets

1. Use a hex wrench  to unscrew counter-clockwise to loosen the set screw (part #1).
The Hex wrench is 2.5 mm or 1/8".
2. Pull out the on/off handle.
If still hard to be pulled away, then loosen the set screw again.

For Two Handle Lavatory &  Roman Tub Faucets
  1. Turn the water off under the sink (hot and cold supply lines).
  2. Support the handle valve body under the sink. The handle valve body will fall off when the handle is removed.
  3. Turn handle ring (part #1) counter-clockwise by hand till handle will be out completely. If you are unable to remove the handle ring with your hand, you can put a cloth around the ring and use a pair of pliers or adjustable wrench to loosen it.

For Showers
  1. Hold lever handle (part #1) at OFF position (facing down like the picture above shown).
  2. Unscrew the handle body (part #2) counter-clockwise by hand.

For 1/2" Diverter Valve or 3/4" Volume Control Valve:

  1. While holding the lever handle at the OFF position (facing down like the picture above shown), unscrew the handle body (part #1) counter-clockwise by hand.
  2. Use an adjustable wrench to grab onto the flat on each side of the handle adapter assembly (part #2) and unscrew it counter-clockwise to remove it.
  3. Remove the escutcheon plate (part #3) to reach the rough-in valve.
