- Unscrew the index button (part #1) counter-clockwise, then pull it out.
- Unscrew the set screw (part #2) counter-clockwise using Philips or a flat screwdriver.
- Then pull out the main handle (part #3).
For Shower:
- Unscrew the index button (part #1) counter-clockwise, then pull it out.
- Unscrew the set screw (part #2) counter-clockwise using Philips or a flat screwdriver.
- Pull out the lever handle (part #3).
- Then unscrew the canopy (part #4) counter-clockwise.
For 3/4" Thermostatic Valve Trim:
- Pull out the rubber button (part #1) and unscrew the set screw (part #1) using a hex wrench counter-clockwise.
The hex wrench is 2.5 mm head or 1/8". - Pull out the handle assembly (part #2).
Follow the below steps to remove the remaining handle trim kits to reach the cartridge and the valve.
- Remove the limit stop (part #3).
- Unscrew the handle trim ring (part #4) counter-clockwise.
- Pull out the escutcheon plate to reach the cartridge and the thermostatic valve.

NOTE: When reinstalling the limit stop and the handle assembly, align the gun sight on the limit stop with the notch on the valve cartridge stem. When recalibrating the output temperature for the high-temperature over-ride position, rotate the cartridge stem counter-clockwise until the desired temperature is reached. For a lower output temperature over-ride position, rotate the cartridge stem clockwise until the desired temperature is reached.
When reinstalling the handle assembly, align the over-ride button in line with the gun sight on the limit stop.
