For Single Handle Kitchen and Single Metal Lever Handle Lavatory faucets :
- Pull out the rubber button located on the bottom of the faucet handle (part #3).
- Use a hex wrench (part #4) to unscrew counter-clockwise to loosen the set screw (part #2).
The hex wrench is 2.5 mm head or 1/8". - Then pull out the main handle (part # 1).
If still hard to be pulled away, loosen the set screw again.
For Two Handle Kitchen Faucets
Acrylic Style handle | Metal Style Handle |
- Pull off the index cap (part #1) with your fingers. If you are unable to remove it, you can use a flat-head screwdriver or a butter knife to remove it.
- Unscrew the screw (part # 2) counter-clockwise using Philips or flat-head screwdriver.
- Pull out handle assembly (part #3).
For Single Lavatory Handle Faucet
- Pull off the index cap (part #1) with your fingers. If you are unable to remove it, you can use a flat-head screwdriver or a butter knife to remove it.
- Unscrew the screw (part #2) counter-clockwise using Philips or flat-head screwdriver.
- Pull out handle assembly (part #3).
For Showers
- Pull out the rubber button located on the bottom of the faucet handle (part #1).
- Use a hex wrench (part #2) to unscrew counter-clockwise to loosen the set screw (part #3).
The hex wrench is 2.5 mm head or 1/8". - Then pull out the main handle (part #4).
If still hard to be pulled away, loosen the set screw again.
