TROUBLESHOOTING

1. How do I remove the flow restrictor/check valve from a handshower?

A:  If the water flow is restricted, there may be debris caught in your flow controller/check valve. Use the procedure outlined to inspect and clean the flow controller/check valve.

2. What should I do if the sprayer will not stay in the holder?

A: If you look at the connectors, they look the same:

The holder portion of the Slide Bracket for the Handshower is 360 degrees rotatable, therefore the slide bracket for the handshower can be installed with the push button facing upward or facing downward. If the hose does not sit well on the holder, rotate the holder portion of the slide bracket for the handshower 180 degrees and retry again.

3. How do I remove and replace the existing holder from the slide bar assembly?

A: To remove and replace the existing holder from the slide bar assembly, you will need to remove the cap from the bottom slide bar base by using a small flathead screwdriver to carefully pry off the cap so it will not damage the cap. Remove the mounting screw using a Phillips screwdriver. Then, remove the base from the slide bar by pulling the base off downward from the slide bar. Once removed, while holding the adjustment button of the slide bracket for the handshower, slide the slide bracket off from the slide bar and replace it with the new replacement slide bracket for the handshower. Reinstall the base back to the slide bar, secure the base with the mounting screw, and reinstall the cap to the base.

4. What should I do if the holder keeps turning and cannot stay in position?

A: The holder portion of the slide bracket for the handshower is 360 degrees rotatable. If your holder portion of the slide bracket for the handshower becomes loose and will not stay in the adjusted position, the holder’s fastening screw may become loose. Locate the fastening screw on the inner wall of the holder of the slide bracket for handshower, retighten it and retested the holder rotation. Do not overtighten the screw to avoid breakage.
