- Remove the rubber index button (#1) from underneath the side of the handle assembly (#2).
- Use a hex wrench (H2.5) to unscrew counter-clockwise to loosen the set screw (#1).
- Pull out the handle assembly (#2).
- Unscrew counter-clockwise to remove the handle trim ring (#3).
- Use a pair of adjustable pliers or adjustable wrench to unscrew counter-clockwise to remove the adjusting ring (#4),
- Hold the stem of the cartridge (#5) and pull it out until it is completely removed from the faucet body.
- Reverse these steps to reinstall removed parts or replace parts to place.
