1) Remove the fill valve from the toilet tank shown:
2) Notice the bushing shown by the arrow:
3) Just push the bushing in the direction shown to loosen the lower tube:
4)Pull away the lower tube from the top of the fill valve:
5) If you look inside the removed tube you will see the filter screen:
6) Using a pen or a small screw driver, simply push out the filter screen like in the photo shown:
7) The filter screen should just push out:
Now clean out the filter and replace it in the tube. Then re-attach the tube to the top of the fill valve assembly.
