  • The valve body of F1960 Cold Expansion PEX G00GS525 (no stop) & G00GS525S (with stops) and F1807 Crimp PEX G00GS527 (no stop) & G00GS527S (with stops) can be rotated 180 degrees for installation with inlets coming down from above. Apply rotation of retainer ring and plaster guard at rough-in installation. For detailed How-To, read this article on How to rotate a Treysta valve 180 degrees for inlets coming down from above?

  • Easy-install innovative plaster guard. Square plaster guard supports installations in smaller spaces and for valves without stops.

    Feature - Plaster Guard
1- A flat surface on top allows using a level to ensure the installation is level. Flat on top and side to simplify tile cutting.
2- UP arrow indicator to ensure proper installation.
3- Finished wall depth indicators in ¼" increments for easy depth indexing.
4- Features a no-tool clip design for fast removal while providing a secure hold.
5- Two attachment points for thin-wall installations.

  • Easy access to integrated mounting holes and quarter-turn service stops

    Feature Stops

1- Integrated mounting holes make installation faster and easier
2- Quarter turn service stops open and close easily using either a flathead screwdriver in the slot or pliers on the flat sides. Stops secured with durable, threaded brass nuts easily tightened with a standard socket. The open and closed position is clearly indicated by slot direction.

     Stop Closed

    CLOSED -

    Perpendicular to the valve inlet
     Stop Open

    OPEN -

    In-line with the valve inlet

For detailed How-To, read this article on How to remove and replace the servicing stops.

  • Pressure Test Plug included for easy pressure-testing to 150 PSI (air or water) with either mixed or isolated inlets

    Pressure Testing Cap Feature 1

1-     DUAL INLET TESTING - Default as shipped. Install with the open end facing in for mixed pressure testing

    Pressure Testing Feature 2
2-     SINGLE INLET TESTING - Install with the open end facing out to plug one inlet and test for cross-flow

For detailed How-To, read this article on How to use the pressure test cap for air or water pressure testing?

  • New Treysta ceramic disc cartridge GA510015 is included with compatible Danze by Gerber and Gerber shower trims to avoid the possibility of damage prior to trim installation. Check valves are integrated in the cartridge to reduce the complexity of stops.

Cartridge provides ASSE 1016 compliance down to 1.3 gpm. Maximum flow rate of 7.3 gpm at 80 psi

  • Valves compatible with existing shower trims for transition.

We recommend that customers to purchase Treysta valves and trims with item numbers ending with the suffix TC together or old valves with trims with item numbers ending with a suffix T together for faster installation and simplicity, but there are fixes to allow for backwards compatibility if needed and as shown in the following:

Old Tub and Shower Trim - does not come with a cartridge and item number ending with a T (Danze item numbers)

    Feature Transition

New DBG Tub and Shower Trim - comes with a new Treysta cartridge and item number ending with a suffix TC

    Feature Transition 2
To make Gerber or old Danze trim compatible with the new Treysta valve, you must install with the new Treysta cartridge (which is sold separately from the valve body) and a bonnet nut in matching finish to the trim (also sold separately from the valve body).

To make the new Danze by Gerber trim compatible with an older valve, you must use the cartridge shipped with the valve assembly and do not use the new Treysta cartridge (shipped with the new Danze by Gerber trims). DO NOT install the new Treysta cartridge with an old rough-in valve body. The new Treysta cartridge IS NOT compatible with the old rough-in valve.

For more details on compatibility and transition, read this article on Is my existing shower product compatible with Treysta valves?
