My faucet drips continuously after I turn it off.

If your faucet drips continuously, tightening the lock nut may resolve the issue.

If the dripping continues after you've tried tightening the lock nut, remove and clean the cartridge, then re-install and test.

If neither of these solutions resolves the issue, the cartridge may need to be replaced.

*For washerless cartridges, before replacing the cartridge, remove and stretch the springs, then re-install and test.*
