How do I install my side spray and spray holder assembly?

This article will explain how to install a side spray and spray holder assembly for a kitchen faucet.
To install the spray hose and spray holder assembly, you will need to:

1. Install the spray holder assembly
2. Install the spray head and spray hose
3. Connect the spray hose to the faucet
4. Test for leaks

Step 1 – Install the spray holder assembly

• Insert the threaded shank of the side spray holder into the hole from above the counter.  
• Under the sink, install the mounting hardware by threading the plastic nut up the threaded shank to meet the counter.  Hand tighten. 

Step 2 – Install the spray head and spray hose

• Connect the spray head and spray hose by threading the spray head onto the spray hose.
• Feed the spray hose through the spray holder assembly from above the counter. Feed the hose all the way until the spray head is sitting in the spray holder assembly.
  

Step 3 – Connect the spray hose to the faucet

• If the spray hose is equipped with a threaded adaptor, thread the spray hose onto the faucet supply pipe.
• If the spray hose is equipped with a quick connect adaptor, remove any protective pieces and connect the spray hose to the faucet supply pipe.
  
  

Step 4 – Test for leaks

• In order to test for leaks, turn on the faucet and activate the spray head several times and watch for any water leaks.
